Goddess Katyayani emerged from the combined incandescent wrath of Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva to annihilate the invincible buffalo demon Mahishasura. She was first fostered by Sage Katyayana, thus earning her sacred name. Radiant like a thousand suns, she rides an aggressive lion into cosmic battle. With her shining scimitar (Chandrahasa) and fearless posture, she decapitated Mahishasura and restored cosmic balance to the three worlds. She is the presiding deity of the Ajna Chakra, granting profound spiritual insight, removal of marital obstacles, and total victory over adversaries.
