By accessing Nityasadhana, creating an account, or using our digital ritual aids (such as the 108 Japa Mala, Stotra Reader, and Panchang), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue using the platform.
Account Governance and Acceptable Use
1.1. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. If you are under the legal age, you may use Nityasadhana only under the direct supervision and consent of a parent or guardian.
1.2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Any activity occurring under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
1.3. Prohibited Conduct: You agree not to engage in malicious activities, including:
- Deploying automated scrapers, crawlers, or harvesting scripts to bulk-download texts, audio assets, or ephemeris calculations.
- Simulating artificial recitations or bot-driven japa completions.
- Attempting to decompile, reverse-engineer, or extract proprietary gesture physics, sound synthesis engines, or application code.
- Interfering with server infrastructure or attempting security vulnerability exploits.
Terms of Use for Digital Ritual Tools
Nityasadhana offers specialized digital tools created to assist concentration, counting discipline, and devotional focus (abhyasa). You acknowledge and agree to the following operational parameters:
2.1. Digital 108-Bead Japa Mala
The virtual 108-bead Japa Mala (including its drag-and-threshold touch mechanics and haptic pulses) is a software-based counting aid designed for mindfulness and focus. It carries no magical, esoteric, or supernatural potency. It does not replace physical consecrated materials (such as genuine Tulasi, Rudraksha, Sphatika, or Lotus seed malas) required for formal temple rites (prana pratishtha), Vedic yajnas, or specific initiatory traditions.
2.2. Brass Bowls and Betel Nut (Supari) Counters
The visual brass bowl and betel nut counting animations serve as visual accounting aids to help you track completed rounds (avrittis) during extensive chanting sessions. They function solely as software markers without independent ceremonial status.
2.3. Sankalpa and Vratam Commitments
Sankalpa tracking, vow schedules, and fast reminders represent personal self-commitments. Nityasadhana expressly disclaims all spiritual, karmic, divine, or psychological liability regarding the fulfillment, interruption, or perceived results of your personal spiritual vows.
Devotional Content and Non-Medical Disclaimer
3.1. Cultural and Devotional Purposes Only: All stotras, sahasranamams, kavachams, dhyana verses, and spiritual significance descriptions are provided strictly for devotional, educational, and cultural purposes in accordance with traditional Indic heritage.
Devotional texts traditionally associated with health, courage, or calm (such as the Aditya Hrudayam, Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra, or Hanuman Chalisa) are spiritual expressions of faith. They do not constitute medical advice, psychiatric evaluation, psychological therapy, or clinical treatment. Never avoid, delay, or modify medical treatment based on spiritual recitations. If you face physical or mental health difficulties, consult a licensed healthcare professional.
3.3. No Metaphysical or Material Guarantees: Nityasadhana makes no promises that chanting any stotra, completing any number of japa rounds, or following any ritual sequence will guarantee material wealth, career success, medical healing, or specific karmic outcomes.
Astrological and Panchang Computation Disclaimer
4.1. Ephemeris and Mathematical Approximations: Panchang metrics (including Tithi, Nakshatra, Yoga, Karana, Rahu Kalam, Yamagandam, Gulika, and Sunrise/Sunset times) are computed algorithmically using astronomical ephemeris models tailored to your device coordinates or chosen location.
4.2. Regional Variations: Vedic timekeeping traditions encompass varying regional calculation systems (such as Drik Ganita, Surya Siddhanta, Amantha, and Purnimantha). Nityasadhana calculations are computational approximations and may vary slightly from localized family almanacs or specific temple customs.
4.3. Non-Binding Guidance: Panchang timings and auspicious windows (muhurtas) are provided solely for personal planning. They do not constitute certified astrological forecasts, financial guidance, or binding legal advice.
Intellectual Property and Sacred Scriptures
5.1. Public Domain Classical Scriptures: Ancient Sanskrit, Telugu, and Vedic root verses, stotrams, and mantras (including the Sri Lalitha Sahasranama Stotram, Sri Vishnu Sahasranamam, Aditya Hrudayam, and Shiva Tandava Stotram) are timeless heritage works in the public domain. Nityasadhana claims no proprietary copyright over ancient sacred texts.
5.2. Proprietary Sanctuary Assets: All other components of Nityasadhana, including original commentary, spiritual benefit prose, user interface typography, gesture physics engines, sound designs, original illustrations, and underlying software code, are the exclusive intellectual property of Nityasadhana and protected by international intellectual property laws.
Limitation of Liability and Service Availability
6.1. “As-Is” Provision: Nityasadhana is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
6.2. Offline Caching and Sync: While our progressive web app supports offline reading, network interruptions or device cache resets may temporarily delay cloud synchronization. Nityasadhana is not liable for data loss resulting from hardware failure or third-party browser clearing.
6.3. Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nityasadhana's total aggregate liability for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed INR 1,000 (One Thousand Indian Rupees) or the amount paid by you to Nityasadhana in the preceding 12 months, whichever is lower.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any controversy, the parties agree to first seek informal resolution in good faith by writing to legal@nityasadhana.in. If unresolved within 45 days, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent civil courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
